Starting and/or running a business is time consuming. And searching for information on the internet when you need help can be confusing and overwhelming. Small to medium sized business owners with limited resources sometimes don’t even know where to start.
That is where BizWizHS.com comes in. This site is intended to be a resource for the entrepreneurs of Holly Springs to find ideas, or be directed to local and regional resources, needed to start, relocate, run or grow a business in Holly Springs.
HISTORY
In 2016, the Town of Holly Springs applied for and was accepted into the Certified Entrepreneurial Communities® Program (CEC® Program). The ultimate goal of the CEC® Program is to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem that is welcoming to and supportive of businesses and entrepreneurs within the community.
In September, the Holly Springs Town Economic Development Department gathered local leaders, entrepreneurs, resource providers and town staff to discuss opportunities for supporting and cultivating entrepreneurship. This diverse group from Holly Springs was unified in their passion to focus efforts in the areas of downtown development and entrepreneurship. Discussions revealed a consensus of the need for an efficient and comprehensive wayfinding tool for current and aspiring business owners and BizWizHS.com was born.
